"Judith guides me with her quiet, yet powerful, belief that my every dream is possible." H. Winters
Judith Kennedy has been involved in diagnosing and correcting learning differences for over 35 years. She is a certified teacher of Language Arts and Special Education. Educators are increasingly dealing with maladjusted behavior with the Department of Education identifying 3-6% of the school age population as having significant social maladjustment problems. When integrated as part of the education environment, social skills education helps eliminate problematic behaviors--freeing educators to focus on learning instead of disciplining.
Judith was named President's Choice for her presentation at the national convention of the National Association of School Psychologists in 2000 for her social skills presentation. This presentation was based on the nationally acclaimed social skills curriculum, Getting to Know You, that she authored. Getting to Know You is recognized as an exemplary mental health program in its proven effectiveness in decreasing violence and discipline problems in schools.
